1 Timothy 6:12 (NLT) Fight the good fight for the true faith. Hold tightly to the eternal life to which God has called you, which you have confessed so well before many witnesses.
I love a good fight as much as the next guy. Whether its UFC, a good Mexican wrestling match or with the telemarketer that tries to sell me windows while I’m trying to eat dinner. I remember when I was growing up my dad would often say to me “is that worth the fight”…Those are words that ring in my ear to this day. There are a lot of things that I fight for. But if I where honest I find myself fighting for things that I shouldn’t be fighting over. A lot of times I fight for MY way, MY will, MY rights ect. ect. And fighting, despite what your parents might say ISN’T wrong, is a good thing… A BIG IF HERE…IF you’re fighting for the RIGHT thing. And one thing that is worth fighting for is your faith. Set high standards, establish your values and know who God has created you to be. Than FIGHT FOR IT…resist public opinion & fight for your faith. Don’t fight WITH people. Fight the urge to quite or settle of sell out. If there is one thing worth fighting for its your faith.
